52 Covid deaths in Assam in last 3 days including 22 on Wednesday

April 28: With a tragic turn of events, more and more people are losing their lives in Assam due to Covid-19. In the last three days, 52 persons in the state have lost their lives due to the deadly coronavirus. On 26 April, 12 people succumbed to Covid-19, 27 April again recorded 18 more deaths and on 28 April another 22 persons lost their lives in the virus attack.

Out of the 22 deceased on Wednesday, 06 are from Kamrup Metro, 03 each from Kamrup Rural & Barpeta; 2 each from Jorhat & Sonitpur, 1 each from Cachar, Charaideo, Karbi Anglong, Karimganj, Lakhimpur and Tinsukia. The death tally of the state now stands at 1,255. Further, as per the data released by NHM Assam, another 1,347 Covid patients also died in Assam due to comorbidities.
