51 new +ve cases in Assam including 5 from Karimganj, state total 1672

June 3: Another 51 new cases of COVID-19 positive were detected in Assam on Wednesday afternoon. With this, the state total has gone up to 1672, out of which, 1328 are active cases. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma gave the district wise break up of the 51 positive cases reported on Wednesday afternoon:

• 28 Dhubri
• 13 Darrang
• 5 Karimganj
• 3 Sonitpur
• 2 Lakhimpur
