5 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Thursday, 12 discharged

Aug 12: Hailakandi registered 05 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Of the 05 positive cases detected on Thursday, all of them was found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 40 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 864 RAT tests and 105 RT-PCR tests were done. 12 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,845 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,382 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 4 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Wednesday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 811 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
