5 HSLC students met with an accident at Borkhola on Monday

March 21: Five HSLC candidates of Kumaghat SC Memorial School met with an accident at Ranighat in Borkhola constituency on Monday. The 5 students were going to their HSLC Exam centre at Sirajul Ali HS School at Barjatrapur in a Maruti van, when they met with a head-on collision with a sand filled truck.

All the 5 HSLC examines were severely injured  in the accident. Local people at once rushed to their rescue. The injured students were sent to Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH). 4 of them were learnt to be most critical.

The injured students were identified as Afsana Begum Barbhuiya, Nur Ahmed Barbhuiya, Sahed Ahmed Laskar, Hafiz Ahmed Barbhuiya and AK Azad Barbhuiya.

Meanwhile, police forces from the vicinity has also reached the spot of the mishap.
