5 active COVID-19 +ve cases in Cachar at present
Health deptt appeals to maintain Covid appropriate behaviour
March 22: On Monday, no new case of COVID-19 was reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 814 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, none were found positive. Also, no person was detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Monday night.
With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 11,504. Further, a total of 11,61 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 38 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 05 active cases in Cachar district.
Further, the district health authorities appealed to the public to maintain COVID appropriate behaviour like use of face masks in public places, maintain social distancing, hand hygiene and coughing etiquette like covering of mouth and nose while coughing. Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed stated that by following these steps we can help prevent the break out of the second wave of COVID-19.
