499 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Saturday, 08 deaths registered

Sept. 11: On Saturday, out of 71,638 tests, 499 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,94,846. The positivity rate in the state is 0.70 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 133 positive cases during the day. Further, on Saturday, 08 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,740. The recovery rate is 98.04 percent.

It needs mention here that on Friday, 396 persons tested positive in Assam and 05 deaths were registered.
