468 counting counting officials & staff vaccinated at Govt Girl’s & Narsing school in Silchar

April 28: The Deputy Commissioner of Cachar made provision for vaccinating the Counting officials and staff at the training venues of Govt Girl’s HS School and Narsing HS School. As such, the vaccination drive took place at these two designated venues on 26 & 27 April, 2021. Even some of the Master Trainers also received the jab at the training venue. It needs mention here that training of Counting Supervisors, Counting Assistants, Micro Observers, Sealing Team, Transit Officers were conducted.

At Narsing HS School, 104 counting officials and staff were vaccinated, whereas 364 of them given the jab at Govt Girl’s HS School, Silchar in two days. Both the 1st dose and 2nd dose of Covaxin and Covishield were administered there. In two days, a total of 468 persons received the vaccine.

Present during the vaccination drive were Kishen Chorai- Asstt Commissione, Nabanita Hazarika- Election Officer and SB Dutta Choudhury- Coordinator of Training Venue. The staff nurse who gave the vaccines were Purabi Acharjee, Chingthian Piak, Hemant Parewa, Bappi Debnath and Jeetesh Meena. Apart from them, Amrit Mazumder, Partho Mazumder and Dilip Deb from the Training & Awareness Cell assisted in the vaccination drive.
