444 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Wednesday, 706 discharged & 8 deaths registered

Sept. 15: On Wednesday, out of 61,642 tests, 444 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,96,606. The positivity rate in the state is 0.72 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 94 positive cases during the day. Further, on Wednesday, 08 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,775. The recovery rate is 98.13 percent.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, 493 persons tested positive in Assam and 09 deaths were registered.
