431 found Covid +ve in Assam, 1246 discharged & 8 deaths registered on Tuesday

Feb. 8: On Tuesday, out of 33,675 tests, 431 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 7,22,368. The positivity rate in the state is 1.28 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 106 positive cases during the day. Further, on Tuesday, 08 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,579. The recovery rate is 98.04 percent. Also, 1,246 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 6,265 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Monday, 557 persons tested positive in Assam and 10 deaths were registered.
