4 test Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Friday, none discharged

Aug. 27: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. Hailakandi registered only 04 new COVID-19 cases on Friday. The district has altogether 15 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 797 RAT tests and 97 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,871 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,433 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 01 person was were found positive in Hailakandi on Thursday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 3,764 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
