4 test Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Friday, 1 discharged

Aug 20: Hailakandi registered 04 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, out of which 03 were found positive during Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas 01 more was detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 28 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 511 RAT tests and 67 RT-PCR tests were done. 01 patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,862 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,411 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 02 persons were were found positive in Hailakandi on Thursday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 487 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
