4 detected Covid +ve till 6 PM in Cachar on Sunday

Sept 12: A total of 04 new cases of COVID-19 was reported till 6 PM on Sunday in Cachar. The number of positive cases is expected to rise towards the night. During the day, 1,453 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done in which 03 persons were found positive, whereas 01 person was detected positive in RT-PCR test. It needs mention here that 19 persons were detected Covid-19 positive on Saturday.

 The Covid-19 situation in gradually is gradually improving. There has been substantial decline in the number of daily positive cases. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 11 September to 5 PM on 12 September) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Sunday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 12 September, there were 26 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, 01 patient was put under ventilator support and 1 in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 03 Covid positive patients were admitted at SMCH but none of them were discharged.
