4.6 magnitude earthquake originating in Tawang also rocks Assam & adjoining areas
June 23: An earthquake measuring 4.6 (status reviewed) on the Richter scale, which originated in Arunachal Pradesh also jolted Assam and its adjoining areas at 10.14 PM on Tuesday. As per National Center for Seismology (NCS), it was stated, “Earthquake of Magnitude:4.6, Occurred on 22-06-2021, 22:14:35 IST, Lat: 28.13 & Long: 92.09, Depth: 70 Km ,Location: 64km NNE of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, India.” However, there were no report of any casualties till the filing of this report.
