380 bottles cough syrup seized in Berenga

way2barak, 21 March: Search was conducted in the house of one Badruz Zaman Choudhury in Berenga PT-II last night and recovered 380 bottles cough syrup. Police suspected that those were  contraband and seized in presence of independent witnesses. In this connection a vehicle bearing registration no. AS-11-A-0279 found parked within the premises was also seized as per procedure. Further lawful action has been initiated, said Numal Mahatta, Police Super.
