353 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Tuesday, no death registered

Oct. 19: On Tuesday, out of 39,654 tests, 353 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,07,119. The positivity rate in the state is 0.89 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 152 positive cases during the day. Further, on Tuesday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 5,957. The recovery rate is 98.43 percent.

It needs mention here that on Monday, 298 persons tested positive in Assam and 07 deaths were registered.
