35 found Covid+ve in Cachar on Thursday, 195 active cases in the district

July 28: The District Health Department updated the Covid-19 data of Thursday. As per the latest data, 35 persons (03 RT-PCR & 32 RAT) were found positive in the district on 28 July, 2022. At present, 195 positive patients in the district have opted for home isolation & 01 has taken admission in hospitals. Further, 39 persons were discharged during the day.

As per the updated data, a total of 312 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, 32 persons were found positive, whereas 03 were detected positive out of 23 RT-PCR Tests. With this, the total number of active Covid cases stands at 195. It needs mention here that on Wednesday, 42 persons were detected as Covid-19 positive in Cachar district.

During this phase (1 July, 2022 onwards) till now 514 positive cases were detected and 318 were discharged in the district of Cachar. During this phase, a total of 01 death was registered. The deceased, a resident of Silchar died at GNRC, Guwahati.

District Administration Cachar in a message stated, “Public is requested to adhere to all COVID 19 protocols and keep themselves safe, as CoVID 19 cases have started creeping up again.”
