34 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Friday, 40 discharged

May 14: Hailakandi registered 34 new COVID-19 cases on Friday. Of the 34 positive cases detected on Friday, 30 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 04 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 538 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 265 RAT tests and 00 RT-PCR tests were done. 40 patients were discharged during the day. It needs mention here that 81 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Thursday. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 4,309.

At present, the district has 05 Rapid Response Teams. Each team consists of a Medical Officer, Laboratory Technician and other medical staff. From 15 May, 4 Mobile Medical Teams shall be placed one at Kalinagar, one in Urban and two others at Lala and Katlicherra.
