3,386 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Wednesday, 36 deaths registered

June 16: On Wednesday, out of 1,30,053 tests, 3,286 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 4,69,976. The positivity rate in the state is 2.60 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 158 positive cases during the day. Further, on Wednesday, 36 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 4,064. The recovery rate is 90.70 percent.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, 3,415 persons tested positive in Assam and 34 deaths were registered.
