32 found Covid +ve in Assam, 57 discharged & no deaths registered on Thursday

Feb. 24: On Thursday, out of 3,615 tests, only 32 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 7,24,070. The positivity rate in the state is 0.89 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 14 positive cases during the day. Further, on Thursday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,637. The recovery rate is 98.85 percent. Also, 57 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 319 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Wednesday, 25 persons tested positive in Assam and 02 deaths were registered.
