315 found Covid +ve in Assam, 1539 discharged & 6 deaths registered on Wednesday

Feb. 9: On Wednesday, out of 32,126 tests, 315 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 7,22,638. The positivity rate in the state is 0.98 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 101 positive cases during the day. Further, on Wednesday, 06 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,585. The recovery rate is 98.21 percent. Also, 1,539 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 5,035 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, 431 persons tested positive in Assam and 08 deaths were registered.
