30 units of blood donated during voluntary camp organised by Lions & Leos

Aug. 14: To commemorate the 75th Independence Day, Lions Club International organised a voluntary blood donation camp at Lions Eye Hospital, Silchar on 14 August, 2021. The camp began at 10 in the morning. The event sponsored by Lions Club of Silchar Central, District 322G has been jointly organised by other Lions & Leo Clubs. A total of 30 units of blood was donated during the drive.

The Lions Club’s which has jointly organised the voluntary blood donation camp are Silchar Central, Silchar Royals, Silchar Lioness, Silchar Centurion, Silchar City, Silchar Valley, Silchar Scholars, Silchar United, Silchar Achievers and Silchar Premier. On the other hand, the Leo Clubs of Silchar Central, Silchar Centurion, Silchar centurion Forever, Silchar Care, Silchar Signature, Silchar Royals and Silchar Titans has also extended their hand in organising this camp.

President of Lions Club of Silchar Central Pradip Ghosh thanked all the donors for their active participation. Lion Samik Sen, Lion Arindam Hore, Lion Jashabanta Das and other club members also graced the occasion.
