3 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Thursday, 5 discharged

Aug 5: Hailakandi registered 03 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Of the 03 positive cases detected on Wednesday, all of them were found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 54 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,179 RAT tests and 142 RT-PCR tests were done. 05 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,812 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,334 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 03 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Wednesday. Till date, 50 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. During the day, 4,488 persons were vaccinated in the district.
