3 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Monday, 5 discharged

Aug 9: Hailakandi registered 03 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday. Of the 03 positive cases detected on Monday, all of them was found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 53 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,509 RAT tests and 128 RT-PCR tests were done. 05 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,834 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,358 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 7 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 4,134 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
