3 test Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Tuesday, none discharged

Aug. 24: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. Hailakandi registered only 03 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. The district has altogether 16 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 538 RAT tests and 66 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,865 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,426 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no persons were were found positive in Hailakandi on Monday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 5,942 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
