3 nabbed by CID in connection with leakage of question paper of Assam Police exam

Sept. 23: The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) was all set to conduct the written test for recruitment of sub-inspector (SI) of police (UB) in Assam Police, scheduled to be held from 12 PM on 20 Sept in all the district headquarters of the state. However, the question paper was allegedly leaked through social media in the morning on Sunday. Following which, the written test was cancelled on that day.

Chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal has directed the chairman of the State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Pradeep Kumar to conduct a re-examination within a month.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Assam Police has arrested three persons in connection with the leakage of exam question paper. Those arrested were identified as Hirakjyoti Barua, Kushal Das and Jubami Bramha. Some more people in connection with this case were also detained by the police.
