3-month old baby wins battle against coronavirus in Assam
July 27: It’s a well known fact as of now that the children and the elderly are the most vulnerable section when it comes to COVID-19 infection. In India too, many within this range were detected positive. Children including even new-born babies were reported to be infected with this deadly virus. The youngest possible victim to COVID-19 was a 3-day-old baby at Cachar district who is at present undergoing treatment at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH).
Meanwhile, on Sunday, a 3-month old baby emerged victorious in the lethal battle against coronavirus. This brave baby Sarneel Jyoti Sarma along with his mother were admitted at Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati. After testing negative, the baby and his mother were discharged from MMCH on Sunday. Before walking out victorious of the hospital, the little hero & his mother were felicitated by the health workers.
