3 lost lives in a road mishap while returning from Mizoram to Cachar to celebrate Eid
May 2: Three persons lost their lives on Sunday in a road mishap, while they were returning in a lorry from Mizoram to Cachar to celebrate Eid. The deceased were identified as Ripon Ahmed Lashkar, Jalil Uddin Lashkar and Ramiz Uddin Lashkar. The dead bodies were recovered by Mizoram Police and sent to hospital over there for autopsy.
As per reports, the trio from Cachar were working as mason in Mamit district of Mizoram. On the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, they decided to come back to their home in Cachar. All of them boarded a 407 lorry MZ05 6944, which unfortunately fell down resulting in the casualties. Low visibility caused due to heavy shower may have resuted in the accident.
