3 Covid+ve in Karimganj & none in Hailakandi on Tuesday

Nov. 23: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Tuesday too, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 05 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 461 RAT tests and 61 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,922 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,490 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none were found positive in Hailakandi on Monday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 4,473 persons were vaccinated on Monday.

Karimganj registered 03 fresh COVID cases on Tuesday. The district has currently 09 active COVID cases, while no patients were discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Tuesday. 976 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that 01 person was detected positive in Karimganj on Monday.
