298 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Monday, 7 deaths registered

Oct. 18: On Monday, out of 41,043 tests, 298 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,06,766. The positivity rate in the state is 0.73 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 103 positive cases during the day. Further, on Monday, 07 more persons died in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,957. The recovery rate is 98.45 percent.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, 205 persons tested positive in Assam and 06 deaths were registered.
