29 patients discharged in Assam including 4 from Silchar Medical College
Active cases 1428 in Assam
June 4: The recovery rate as regards COVID-19 cases in Assam is now gradually improving. Another 29 patients were discharged in Assam after they tested negative twice for COVID-19. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that these 29 patients were discharged from 6 different hospitals of the state. He, however, wrote that this discharge took place on 3 June. Out of the 29 patients, 4 were discharged from Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). With this, 442 patients were discharged in Assam as of now. That means, at present, there are 1428 active cases of COVID-19 in Assam. Here is the break-up of the 29 discharged cases:

- FAAMCH 5
- SMCH 4
- Golaghat CH 03
- GMCH 1
- Dhemaji CH 2
