29 found Covid +ve in Assam, 179 discharged & 3 deaths registered on Saturday

Feb. 19: On Saturday, out of 5,144 tests, only 29 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 7,23,936. The positivity rate in the state is 0.56 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 09 positive cases during the day. Further, on Saturday, 03 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,629. The recovery rate is 98.79 percent. Also, 179 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 813 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Friday, 46 persons tested positive in Assam and 04 deaths were registered.
