270 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Monday, 223 discharged & 5 death registered
At present, there are 2,647 active cases in Assam
Oct. 11: On Monday, out of 46,429 tests, 270 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,05,239. The positivity rate in the state is 0.58 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 104 positive cases during the day. Further, on Monday, 05 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,931. The recovery rate is 98.36 percent.
It needs mention here that on Sunday, 160 persons tested positive in Assam and 05 death was registered.

On Saturday, 223 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 5,95,314 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by NHM, Assam. At present, there are 2,647 active cases in the state.
Further, during the day, 05 patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. Out of the 05 deceased, 02 are from Jorhat ; 01 each are from from Cachar, Karbi Anglong & Nagaon. The death tally of the state now stands at 5,931.
