259 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Sunday, 259 discharged & 7 deaths registered

Sept. 19: On Sunday, out of 28,251 tests, 259 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,97,968. The positivity rate in the state is 0.92 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 74 positive cases during the day. Further, on Sunday, 07 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,797. The recovery rate is 98.19 percent.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 365 persons tested positive in Assam and 02 deaths were registered.
