25 found Covid +ve in Assam including 1 in Cachar on Saturday, active cases 95 in the state

June 18: On Saturday, out of 611 tests, 25 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,24,339. Out of the 25 positive cases detected on Saturday, 18 are from Kamrup Metro, 03 from Dibrugarh, 02  from Kamrup Rural and 01 each from Cachar & Hojai districts. The positivity rate in the state is 4.09 percent. Further, on Saturday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,639.

The recovery rate is 98.88 percent. No persons were discharged during the day. So far, 7,16,256 persons got cured and were discharged. There are at present 95 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Friday, 11 persons tested positive in Assam and no death was registered.
