248 tests +ve in Assam on Saturday; 555 patients discharged
Active cases 6,758 in Assam
Nov. 7: On Saturday, out of 23,232 tests only 248 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,08,637 out of which, 6,758 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 1.07 percent.
On Saturday, 555 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,00,936 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 02 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 940.
