242 tests +ve in Assam on Tuesday; 357 patients discharged
Active cases 3,329 in Assam
Nov. 17: On Tuesday, out of 24,637 tests only 242 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,10,696 out of which, 3,329 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.98 percent.
On Tuesday, 357 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,06,398 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 02 more patient died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 966.
