24 more tests positive at BSF unit in Tripura, total in state goes to 88
May 7: It seems to be a very disappointing day for North East India. First 8 patients were tested for COVID-19 in Assam and little later news came in that 24 more persons of BSF unit in Ambassa, Tripura have also tested positive. This takes the total tally of Tripura to 88. Two of them were already discharged and 86 of them are active cases.
