23,865 candidates to appear in HS TET in Assam on 10 January

Jan 9: A total of 23,865 candidates will be appearing in HS Teachers Eligibility Test (TET), Assam on 10 January, 2021. The examination will be conducted in 67 centres across the state. This was disclosed in a press meet organised by Board of Secondary Assam (SEBA), Guwahati. Out of the total of 23,865 candidates, 18,355 will appear for Arts stream, 4,675 in Science stream and 835 in Commerce stream.

All sorts of electronic devices are barred inside the exam centres. The candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centres with mobile phones. Further jammers will also be installed. The results of HS TET will be declared towards the end of January or 1st part of February.

In Cachar district, a total of 1884 candidates will be appearing in HS TET on 10 January. The test will be conducted in 6 centres in Silchar.
