2343 patients discharged in Assam on Saturday
Sept. 5: On Saturday, 2343 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 95,060 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged in the state. As of now, there are 28,507 active cases in the state. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “2343 patients discharged today More than 2000 discharges for the second consecutive day. Good job team doctors.”
Also, 2698 new cases of novel coronavirus were detected in Assam on Saturday. With this, the state tally has now gone upto 1,23,922. Further, 7 persons died in the state on Saturday due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death toll to 352.
