233 tests +ve in Assam on Saturday; 193 patients discharged
Active cases 3,232 in Assam
Nov. 21: On Saturday, out of 19,844 tests only 233 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,11,427 out of which, 3,232 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 1.12 percent.
On Saturday, 193 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,07,219 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 02 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 973.
