2320 patients discharged in Assam on Monday
Sept. 28: On Monday, 2320 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2320 patients were discharged in the state as of now. At present, there are 30,662 active cases in Assam. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “2320 patients discharged today. May God bless all recovered patients and their families. I request everyone to keep following #SocialDistancing norms.”
On Monday, a total of 1,20,156 tests were done in the state, out of which, 3644 were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of novel coronavirus has now gone upto 1,73,629. Further, during the day, another 12 persons died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death toll of the state to 667.
