226 new cases detected in Assam, state tally rises to 6282

June 24: Another 226 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Assam on Wednesday. With this, the state tally has gone upto 6282, out of which, 2508 are active cases. Till now, 3762 patients were discharged in Assam. This information was shared by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet at 7.20 PM on Wednesday. The minister, however, refrained from providing the district-wise break up of the 226 new cases detected on Wednesday.
