222 tests +ve in Assam on Tuesday; 135 patients discharged
Active cases 3,486 in Assam
Dec. 1: On Tuesday, out of 20,852 tests 222 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,12,998 out of which, 3,486 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.74 percent.
On Tuesday, 135 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,08,528 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, none died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 981.
