22 found Covid +ve in Cachar on Wednesday, 84 active cases in the district

Aug 10: The District Health Department updated the Covid-19 data of Wednesday. As per the latest data, 22 persons (03 RT-PCR & 19 RAT) were found positive in the district on 10 August, 2022. At present, 84 positive patients in the district have opted for home isolation while none have taken admission in hospitals. Further, 25 persons were discharged during the day.

As per the updated data, a total of 257 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, 19 persons were found positive, whereas 03 were detected positive out of 13 RT-PCR Test. With this, the total number of active Covid cases stands at 84. On Tuesday, a total of 20 Covid Positive cases were detected in Cachar.

During this phase (1 July, 2022 onwards) till now 822 positive cases were detected and 737 were discharged in the district of Cachar. During this phase, a total of 01 death was registered. The deceased, a resident of Silchar died at GNRC, Guwahati.

District Administration Cachar in a message stated, “Public is requested to adhere to all COVID 19 protocols and keep themselves safe, as CoVID 19 cases have started creeping up again.”
