21 ACS-APS Officers Suspended in APSC Scam

way2barak, 2 Dec : Assam government has suspended 21 ACS-APS officers for their alleged involvement in the APSC  scam.

Out of the 21 officers, 11 are APS, four ASC officers, three assistant employment officers, two assistant registrar of cooperative societies and one excise inspector.

Of these, two APS officers had been arrested in the case last week, while summons to appear before a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the state police, which is probing the case, have been issued to several others.

The officers have been placed under suspension with immediate effect, the notification said.
