20th Convocation of Assam University to be held in 2nd week of Feb: Registrar

way2barak, Dec.19: The 20th Convocation of Assam University will be held in the 2nd week of February. Issuing a notification to this effect on 19 December, Dr PK Nath, Registrar of Assam University stated, “The candidates who are eligible and willing to attend the Convocation should apply online for registering in the prescribed online form available in www.ausexamination.ac.in/certificate w.e.f. 12.30 pm of 20 December, 2022 onwards. Last date of submission of application forms along with all supporting documents is 26 January, 2022 upto 12.00 midnight.”

Fee Structure for registering in 20th Convocation:

• For those willing to participate physically- Rs.2,500 + payment gateway charge, as applicable.
• For those who can’t participate physically- Rs.700 + payment gateway charge, as applicable.

The amount paid is non refundable. Application fee of candidates who are not eligible as per Para.2 below for 20th Convocation 2023, will not be refunded. Candidates are requested to use “RuPay” Debit Card or “Internet Banking” for payment of fees through payment Gateway. The students willing to attend the Convocation physically will receive hall Ticket in due course of time. There will be a Rehearsal on the day before convocation at Assam University, Silchar Campus for those attending the Convocation physically.

Applicants must report to the University Campus by 10:30 A.M. for the same and for collection of Convocation Dress. Participation in the rehearsal is compulsory for all candidates who are willing to attend the Convocation physically. Students not willing to attend the Convocation may apply for the Original Certificate after Convocation as per normal procedure.

The degree that will be conferred in the 20th Convocation are:

1. M.Phil & Ph.D: Degree notified on and from 21-02-2022 till the last date of submission of application for entering into 20th Convocation, 2023.
2. All other courses: Candidates passed out in:

• Post Graduate Courses: Odd Semester January 2022 and Even Semester May 2022
• Integrated/ Under Graduate/ B. Voc Courses: Odd Semester January/ February 2022 & Even Semester May/ July 2022.
• Three-Year Degree Courses: 
• (i) Non-CBCS Even Semester November 2021
• (ii) Non- CBCS Odd Semester, July 2022
• (iii) CBCS End Semester Even, September 2021 (TDC)
• (iv) CBCS End Semester Odd, March 202s (TDC)
• Professional Courses:
• (i) B.Ed Odd Semester, March 2022 & Even Semester, August 2022
• (ii) Law Odd Semester, March 2022 & Even Semester, August 2022
• Bachelor of Vocation (Information Technology):
• (i) CBCS End Semester Even, September 2021 (TDC)
• (ii) CBCS End Semester Odd, September 2022 (TDC)
