20 tests +ve in Cachar on Saturday, tally reaches 11,079

Dec. 12: On Saturday, a total of 20 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 855 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, 19 persons were found positive, whereas 01 was detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Saturday night.

With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 11,079. Further, a total of 10,940 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 37 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 102 active cases in the district. It needs mention here that 16 persons were found positive in Cachar on Friday.
