2-week long ward-wise plantation drive completed by Aahvaan in Silchar

July 7: Aahvaan, a socio-cultural organisation of Silchar has successfully completed two weeks long ward-wise plantation drive in Silchar town. They successfully planted 100 saplings covering all the wards under the jurisdiction of Silchar Municipal area. The 100th number sapling was planted in the office of the Superintendent of Police, Silchar in presence of Dipayan Chakraborty MLA Silchar constituency, SP Cachar Vaibhav C. Nimbhalkar, Additional SP (Hq) Partha Saikia and Additional SP (Hq.).

Aahvaan inaugurated the plantation drive by planting their first sapling at Bharat Sevashram Sanga, Malini Beel on 17 of June, as reported by their founder Swarnadeep Ghosh.
