2 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Saturday, 8 discharged

Aug 7: Hailakandi registered 02 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday. Of the 02 positive cases detected on Saturday, 01 of them was found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas 01 more person was detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 52 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 927 RAT tests and 125 RT-PCR tests were done. 08 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,826 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,349 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 12 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Friday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. During the day, 3,067 persons were vaccinated in the district.
