2 test Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Wednesday, 3 discharged

Aug 18: Hailakandi registered 02 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, out of which 01 was found positive during Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas 01 more was detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 25 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 778 RAT tests and 82 RT-PCR tests were done. 03 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,856 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,408 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none were found positive in Hailakandi on Tuesday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 1,657 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
